Dr. G comes from a rural agricultural background with deep roots in food animal raising from his parents, which started his path toward being a veterinarian. After graduating in 1996, Dr. G started his career in the dairy industry and small animal medicine in India. Deciding to move to the US, he pursued a veterinary career here by completing an American Veterinary Medical Association accreditation in 2011. He started in Detroit in 2011 as a small animal veterinarian. In 2014, he moved to California to work at Animal Farm Veterinary Hospital. Since then he has gained a great deal of experience, building upon his expertise in emergency cases, dentistry and surgery. Dr. G likes to spend his free time with his fur baby, Charlie, hiking and playing badminton.

Dr. Sushma Penta, MVSc. was born and raised in India and began her career in veterinary medicine there before relocating to the United States. She completed her undergraduate studies in veterinary medicine at the College of Veterinary Science, Tirupati, in 2014, and in 2018, she earned her Master’s Degree in Biology and Biological Sciences from Marshall University. Over the past ten years, she has worked in various clinics in India and the United States and has experience with wildlife, zoo medicine, and small and large animals. She hopes to enter the field of exotic animal medicine in the near future.

When she isn’t working, Dr. Sushma enjoys spending time with her sweet bullmastiff puppy, who was born in June 2021. Her precious pup has already earned her Canine Good Citizen certification and hopes to become a service dog in the future. Dr. Sushma also enjoys spending time with her family, caring for her pets, reading books, and spending time outdoors in her free time.
